Job Description

To plan, direct and evaluate the operations of bakeries as well as manage staff and assign duties.
To study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales.
To determine merchandise and services to be sold as well as plan budgets and authorize expenditures in collaboration with the General Manager.
To greet customers and provide quality personalized service and resolve customer complaints. To maintain and control inventory of baked items and replenish food items according to the customers’ demand and needs.
To ensure that bakery items are baked or cooked according to the customers’ tastes and need.

Cake Decorator

Job Description

To keep up to date with the latest trends in both flavours and aesthetic appeal. To fill customer special orders and quotes accurate pricing, both in person and by phone.
To design and decorates cakes according to customer specifications.
To adhere to health and safety regulations by maintaining product freshness and sanitation.
To assist other staff as needed.

Job Description

To clean the kitchen equipment and tools before use. To measure the correct amount of ingredients for recipes and prepare a variety of products, including cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more following traditional and modern recipes.
To measure batter and fillings into uniform portions and minimize waste.
To load and unload ovens with products.
To monitor the temperature of baked goods on a regular basis to ensure freshness.
To maintain the Bakery’s production schedule by following a strict daily routine.
To monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
To decorate baked goods with fresh fruit, icing, and other toppings.
To recommend recipes to the Bakery Manager to renew the menu and attract more customers.
To adhere to sanitation and food safety procedures.
